Nice slice of life show about geology in general, and the rockhounding hobby in particular. The younger protagonist comes off as impulsive, bordering on pushy, but is very eager. The senpai is calm and patient, explaining natural processes and details of the miinerals/crystals-of-the-day. Background music is sometimes reminiscient of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; with multiple low-tempo, single-key, solo piano movements.

Let's see . . . an annoying, immature teenager and lots of facts arranged in logical, easy-to-remember lessons. This is more or less a flashback to Grade Eight.

This is a good show for those looking for a cutesy, slower paced story.
Or a senpai nee-san that doesn't need a life jacket to float in the water. Either one.

When I was young, I collected minerals. So this show does have some relevance to me. Collecting minerals is interesting but as an anime, it's cute but it don't hold my interest anymore.
