Nanase Takeshi is an ordinary high school boy who has a somewhat dark past. Due to certain circumstances, he formed a fake couple with his childhood friend Isoshima Kurumi, but otherwise, he lives a normal life. However, one day, he comes across a girl named Aiba Mui, in a uniform he has never seen before, collapsed on the school campus. This encounters changes Takeshi's destiny completely. Mui tells Takeshi that she is a magician, and she apologizes, for she turned Takeshi into a magician, too. What Takeshi once knew as one world is actually two — the world where magicians live and the world where humans live.

So this more or less felt like Harry Potter and friends playing Calvinball.

I like the simple concept -- yoou get touched by magic, you bcome magic, if you're yougn enough. I like that it happened to the girlfriend, because if not, there would have been too much angst for the main character, and there should be enough superpowered fights to keep it interesting. Unfortunately, it seems poised to turn into a high school soap, but I guess you can't have everything.

Things happen way too fast, ewith alot of informtion thrown at you from the get go, and it is SOOO easy to get powers in this wrold
